OUR STUDENTS
At the core of TGS lie community service, sports, and co-curricular activities. Community service is not just a one-time event but a way of life for students. Service learning is a crucial aspect of their development, as it not only teaches them to contribute to society and different groups but also to learn from the experience and grow as individuals.
Additionally, sports, games, and other activities play an important role in the lives of students at TGS, regardless of whether they are seeking high-level competition or just recreation. Engaging in sports and physical activities not only helps develop their physical abilities but also keeps them healthy and active while offering a sense of achievement and enjoyment.
Clubs & Activities
TGS students are actively engaged in several service initiatives through the International Award for Young People, TGS Interact Club, and the IBDP CAS program. While these programs may be mandatory for some, for most students, they become an integral part of their daily routine and student life. Reflecting on their experiences, students note that these service initiatives have helped them become more compassionate and empathetic individuals, enabling them to appreciate and understand the complexities of the society they live in. Furthermore, these programs have also allowed students to develop valuable skills, such as communication and patience, which will benefit them throughout their lives.
Sports & Athletics
At TGS, we strive to provide our Diploma students with a diverse selection of individual and team sports that cater to their unique interests and skill levels. With top-notch indoor and outdoor sporting facilities at our disposal, we offer a variety of competitive, developmental, and recreational sports programs that run throughout the year.
